About A Hack for That

This blog is a gathering place for the weird tricks I’ve figured out to optimize life using things like online auctions, robotic lawn mowers, 3d printers, custom web apps, and just thinking about things differently as technology and life changes.

The solutions here aren’t necessarily easy, but they may be the best way to fill a gap where there isn’t a proper way to do that thing. If they were easy and proper they wouldn’t be hacks. Some are time-sensitive and may no longer fully apply.

Most of these posts are a place to give a full thoughtful summary of conversations I keep having with friends: Is that a Robot Lawnmower, how do you like it? Did you also get that at an online auction, how do you find these deals? What kind of car IS that, and your whole family fits?
